Hi! I'm Iris, a front-end developer who loves bringing beautiful, user-friendly interfaces to life with clean, responsive code.
I'm a front-end developer who thrives at the intersection of logic and creativity. I specialize in crafting responsive, accessible websites that look good, work well, and are built with clean, maintainable code. Whether I'm translating a Figma mockup into semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or building a custom WordPress theme with PHP, I take pride in the small details that make a site feel polished and intuitive.
My background includes working with artists, academics, nonprofits, and solo professionals — individuals and organizations who needed thoughtful, user-friendly websites to represent their work. Now, I'm excited to bring that same attention to detail and collaborative spirit to a full-time role. I'd love to join a team where I can continue to grow as a developer, contribute to real-world projects, and build scalable, user-focused solutions — whether that's at an agency working with a variety of clients or embedded in a product-focused engineering team.
When I'm not coding, I enjoy spending time in nature, playing ttrpgs, baking, singing, and making art.
Official website for a documentary film about a group of incarcerated men staging A Midsummer Night's Dream. Completely redesigned exisiting site, resulting in nine fully redesigned pages. Streamlined complex content with the aim of providing a clear introduction to the film for audience members, screening programmers, and supporters. The design elements for this project seek to highlight the film's themes of love, hope, and transformation, showing colorful images of the actors rehearsing contrasting with the stark white walls of the prison environment.

A team of professors needed a website to organize resources for students learning to be mathematics teachers. The solution I created with my team is a multi-page WordPress site including a filterable database of educational videos, a discussion forum, and other resource pages. We built a custom WordPress theme based on Underscores, wrote HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to turn the designers' Figma prototype into a reality.
